Land Development

A.H. Davenport has extensive experience with project planning, permitting, and construction review of multidisciplinary projects throughout New Castle County, Kent County, and Sussex County, Delaware, and Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Whether you are applying for a major record rezoning plan, a variance or conditional use application, or a simple lines and grades plan for a single family home, chances are we’ve done something like it before.

Every project is unique, but our relationships with review agencies allow us to provide you with realistic expectations and timelines for project approvals. Our senior leadership’s “boots on the ground” experience also allows us to provide sensible value-added recommendations at the start of the project, rather than waiting until contractor bid stage, after many major decisions have already been made.

For specialty items, such as wetlands delineation, environmental studies, or sewer pump station design, we work with a wide range of subconsultants and can assist you in getting the results you need to overcome any hurdles that arise during the development process.
